Welcome to Laura Radford Photography.
I grew up in the small community of Alva in northwest Oklahoma. I attended Alva Public Schools and graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. My family has always farmed and ranched. I was fortunate to live near grandparents and great-grandparents and to be a part of all of the happenings in the family business. It was truly a family affair. I am lucky to still be a part of that same lifestyle. I still live in Alva, but with my husband and two sons, Wyatt and Garrett. We farm and ranch and our boys are now stepping up to make sure things get done.
I have been photographing family, friends, neighbors and farm and ranch families for several years. Through those endeavors, I have developed a huge curiosity and love for capturing special moments in people’s lives through the lens of a camera. I attend photography and creativity workshops, conventions and classes to constantly improve my craft. I belong to several professional photography organizations in order to stay current with technology, equipment and products. Until now location photography was the only photography that I offered. Currently I am working on a studio location.
